The Chusovoy Steel Works was founded in 1879. The plant is situated in the center of Ural and is one of its most famous enterprises in this region. The fact that the plant is close to the sources of raw material and energy resources determined its production specificity. This is an enterprise with a complete metallurgical production cycle. The plant manufactures high quality metallurgical products: vanadium cast iron, refined cast iron, rolled section steel. The Chusovoy Steel Works is the only enterprise in the world with a complete metallurgical ferrovanadium production cycle. Today the Chusovoy Steel Works is the biggest supplier of automobile springs and spring bands for domestic automotive enterprises and foreign partners.
